Very interesting Carole Ann.
This para sums it up for me:
In this moment, when technology allows the demands of work to permeate our lives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, there is a clear case for businesses to build their employees’ skills for wellbeing.
The actions businesses take through this current global crisis will make us stronger in the future.
As we navigate the challenges of today, our capacity to foster wellbeing in the face of uncertainty will determine the strength of our leadership tomorrow.

Great question, the priority of the corporation is to positively fulfill its mission and vision.
The need for corporations to see and continue to build value in their employees is part of fulfilling their mission and vision, is key. If they do that by offering platforms such as “I am here tribe”, the next step is to have the employees engage with the platform.
This is where I see the struggle of corporations. They don’t get the engagement from the employees. Especially not the ones who truely need it, the ones who pushing everything to make ends meet.
So is it the workplace responsibility OR is there a wider cultural question to answer?
How can we as employees help employers get higher engagement in this platform?
Would love to continue this conversation.
